*Community Meal - 4PM-6PM, Community Kitchen at God's Storehouse, 406 W. Oldtown St. Galax, VA 24333. "Every Monday and Tuesday evening from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., we warmly invite those in need to join us for a hot meal. We understand how difficult times can be, and our goal is to provide support and comfort to our community members who are hungry."
CRAFTERNOON - 3:30PM - 5:30PM. Galax Public Library. This program is recommended for ages 8-17. Join us at the library for an afternoon of self-guided, independent crafting. You bring the creativity, we provide the supplies. Craft ideas and examples provided for inspiration.

IN THE LOOP Fiber Friends - 5:00PM-7:00PM. Galax Public Library. Bring your knitting, crochet, embroidery—or start something new! Meet fellow crafters in a relaxed, welcoming space. This even occurs on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month, and on the Tuesdays of the other weeks.
A NOVEL BUNCH BOOK CLUB - 6PM-7PM. Galax Public Library. Adults are invited to join the book discussion of Seven Reasons to Murder Your Dinner Guests by KJ Whittle on Tuesday in the Large Print Lounge at Galax Public Library. Copies of the book are available for pick up at the circulation desk at the Galax branch.

This introduction will cover glass bead making from a safety, resources/tools and techniques perspective. $53.
