"Together, we are building healthier, stronger, and more connected communities..." Mariah Evans, TCCF Executive Director

The Twin County Community Foundation (TCCF) is continuing to invest in projects that directly impact the lives of residents in Carroll County, Grayson County, and the City of Galax.

Applications for grant funding are available annually for eligible 501(c)(3) organizations and local government entities. This new fiscal year, TCCF is awarding $473,638 to organizations whose projects help improve health, education, and general well-being throughout the Twin Counties.

The following organizations were selected as FY26 Grant Recipients:

Alongside the FY26 Community Grants, TCCF has committed $120,000 to Wytheville Community College for scholarships. Of this total, $20,000 was generously gifted by an anonymous donor, reflecting the shared commitment of donors and the Foundation to invest in the education of future generations. TCCF is also allocating an additional $18,000 to expanding scholarships for local graduating seniors, homeschool students, and adults continuing their
education.

This year’s impact was strengthened by the generosity of local businesses and individual donors. Contributions from Johnson Family Chevrolet, Lake Ridge RV Resort, Young’s Chapel Baptist Church, and other donors have helped expand TCCF’s ability to award grants and scholarships, ensuring greater opportunities for residents across the Twin Counties.

“From grants that strengthen organizations, to scholarships that open doors for students, to the generosity of local donors - every piece of this work reflects a shared vision,” said Mariah Evans, TCCF Executive Director. “Together, we are building healthier, stronger, and more connected communities and we look forward to watching these investments create a lasting impact across the Twin Counties.”
