CRAFTERNOON - 3:30PM - 5:30PM. Galax Public Library. This program is recommended for ages 8-17. Join us at the library for an afternoon of self-guided, independent crafting. You bring the creativity, we provide the supplies. Craft ideas and examples provided for inspiration.

Open Jam Session - 2PM-3PM. Carroll County Public Library. Bring your string instrument and come on down for some old time music!
Youth Book Club - 4PM-5PM. Galax Public Library. This program is for ages 8-12. The current book can be picked up at the circulation desk of the hosting library.
Drawing with Charcoal - Noon-3PM. Chestnut Creek School for the Arts, 100 N Main Street, Galax. Join us in this beginner friendly class as students experiment with several forms of charcoal! Enjoy the drawing process and learn new techniques to plan future drawing projects at home! Students will experiment with compressed, vine and charcoal pencils to create a variety of effects. Linoleum Print Making - 11AM - 3:30PM. Chestnut Creek School for the Arts. 100 N. Main Street, Galax. A reduction print is a multi-colored layered print using a single linoleum block. The process of carving and printing is repeated over and over again until the image is complete. One block multi-colored! No skills required! $63. Register here: Print Making
