*Community Meal - 4PM-6PM, Community Kitchen at God's Storehouse, 406 W. Oldtown St. Galax, VA 24333. "Every Monday and Tuesday evening from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., we warmly invite those in need to join us for a hot meal. We understand how difficult times can be, and our goal is to provide support and comfort to our community members who are hungry."

*Loaves & Fish Food Bank - 10AM-1PM and 4PM-6PM. Endless Possibilities Church in Galax

Preschool Storytime - 11AM - noon. Galax Public Libary. This program is geared towards a preschool audience, but all ages are very welcome! No registration is required. FREE

IN THE LOOP Fiber Friends - 5:00PM-7:00PM. Galax Public Library. Bring your knitting, crochet, embroidery—or start something new! Meet fellow crafters in a relaxed, welcoming space. This even occurs on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month, and on the Tuesdays of the other weeks.

Stretch & Gentle Yoga - 9 - 10AM. Goodwill Grange, 840 Grangehall Road in Troutdale

Mount Roger's Mobile Unit - 10AM. Goodwill Grange, 840 Grangehall Road in Troutdale

Fries Theater Jam Session - 6PM-9PM. Doors open at 5:30. Cakewalk after the 8PM break. Join this weekly gathering where you can listen to old time music or bring your instrument and join in. Flat footing and dancing is optional. You don't want to miss the fun! Donations welcome.

Only .25 cents per game with two winner-take-all jackpots. The proceeds go toward improvements and maintenance of the old rock building.
