Lucas Pasley Plays in Dublin Saturday January 10
Lucas Pasley joins Gap Civil on the New River Community College stage this Saturday night, January 10, in Dublin. Show starts at 7PM.
Pasley is an songwriter and oldtime fiddler / banjoist from Sparta, NC in the heart of the southern Appalachian mountains.
Rooted in traditional Appalachian and country music, Pasley often pulls lyrics from his family's writing in addition to his own with an emphasis on instrumental solos and harmony singing. His first album, Souls Living On, is a collection of four generations of songwriting in his family, and his latest album Ponies Back Home was released in 2023. His music is available for purchase on Bandcamp and available to listen on all major streaming services.
Pasley plays in the band Gap Civil and with Martha Spencer and the Wonderland Country Band and has worked to preserve and honor the music of Alleghany County, NC and the surrounding areas.
