Writer's Group - 2PM-3PM Galax Public Library, 610 W Stuart Drive, Galax. "This group is open to adults who wish to discuss and improve their writing skills in a lighthearted and enjoyable environment. No registration is required. FREE"

In the Loop Fiber Friends - 5PM-7PM Galax Public Library, 610 W Stuart Drive, Galax. "Bring your knitting, crochet, embroidery—or start something new! Meet fellow crafters in a relaxed, welcoming space."

A Novel Bunch Book Club - 6PM Galax Public Library, 610 W Stuart Drive, Galax. Books available for pickup at circulation desk. This month's discussion is "College Girl, Missing: The true story of how a young woman disappeared in plain sight."

Community Kitchen - 4PM-6PM God's Storehouse, 406 W. Oldtown Street, Galax. "Every Monday and Tuesday evening from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., we warmly invite those in need to join us for a hot meal. We understand how difficult times can be, and our goal is to provide support and comfort to our community members who are hungry."

A Novel Bunch Book Club - 6PM-7PM Book discussion group for adults. This month's book is Highway Thirteen by Fiona McFarlane. Galax Public Library, large-print room.
