Celebrate Local Youth in The Neighborly
We'd like to build a robust youth news and events section in The Neighborly. If you are a parent, youth leader, or educator who would like to give updates on events and activities for your kiddos & groups, please reach out and keep us in the loop.
The Neighborly is here for YOUTH!
Educators are encouraged to feature student projects and work!
Coaches are invited to share event summaries and game videos!
Parents are welcome to put their kids in the spotlight for a job well done!
Youth groups can amplify your fundraisers and community events here!
The Neighborly is a locally-owned, digital magazine. We don't have a presence on social media unless our readers share our releases there. This means that anything we publish on The Neighborly is trusted, professionally edited news.
Nobody can put their personal commentary - negative or positive - in our pages here like audiences do on social media platforms.
Our motto is "News Without the Noise" for a reason.
We are committed to amplifying news, good stories, and events happening right here in our backyards.
As they've always done, our nation's youngsters are watching the "grown-ups in the room". Social media shows us that a lot of the "grown-ups" are failing to mind their own business and their manners.
The Neighborly is here to help restore the goodness that is in all of us and show area youth that we're excited about their future here in Southwest Virginia.
If you're involved with youth activities and want to help The Neighborly celebrate local kids, reach out. We'll be excited to hear from you!
